Dr. Stephanides joined Dr. Orcutt's practice in January, 2001. After obtaining his MD degree from Stanford University School of Medicine, he stayed at Stanford for his general surgery and plastic surgery residency. At Stanford, Dr. Stephanides maintained a broad and busy clinical practice which included cosmetic surgery, hand surgery, microsurgery and reconstructive surgery. He has a special interest in facial rejuvenation procedures, breast surgery liposuction and body contouring procedures. After working with NASA for a number of years, he founded and became the Medical Director of the Stanford-NASA National Biocomputation Center. Dr. Stephanides participated in 15 surgical missions to developing countries. He grew up in the island of Cyprus so he enjoys all water sports (skin diving, diving, waterskiing).
